Deepseek and the Concerns of Privacy

Over the past month, an AI bot called Deepseek has shattered the AI market, with companies now panicking to create a bot that is better than Deepseek as soon as possible. While they are worried about their profits, Im more worried about the privacy-breaching and information-controling implications that this company has. Being based in China, this AI bot is controlled by the chinese government and will censor major amounts of information (such as the Tiananmen Square Massacre), and possibly use this against us in order to start uprisings and that sort. Furthermore, this information can be used by the chinese government against the users of Deepseek, potentially being used to control more people into doing what the CCP wants. Overall, I believe that Deepseek is not a good look for the cybersecurity world, as this has many harmful implications for the US.
